What a Crappy Sunday!

So, today started off alright, but that was about it, in the good department. I haven't been feeling the best, so I slept in. I got up and started color coding Book of Mormon's for my primary class (I color code the books, like the tabs in the better copies, but I do it with color and it really helps them, because I have flash cards with the color on them, so I just hold up the blue and they know to go to 1st Nephi.) Anyways, so I did that and I felt so prepared for church, and then I took my time eating breakfast and then went in to get ready for the day. I was putting on my contacts, which just happened to be my last pair. I put on my right, then I thought I put on my left, then I went to my room for something, and thought Wow, I really can't see out of my left eye. They're old, but I haven't been able to get new ones, so I just figured that was the problem. Nope. I never actually put it in. However, it's missing. I couldn't find it anywhere, so I was really glad that I got glasses my last eye appointment or I would've been in a big mess. I still kind of was, because as I sit on the bench, I can't read the music, see the keys and play the pedals on the organ with glasses, because there is that void space where there are rims and then no lens when I look down. It's great! So, The Spirit of God was about seven minutes long. I never am a slow player, but I couldn't focus. When I was done with the second verse I thought I'd die, because it was so long. The rest of church was fine, until I'd run home for a second, because I forgot their treats, and when I got back, I just had my phone sitting on my lesson manual next to me in sharing time. I should've put it in my bag, but for some reason I didn't. So, then we went to class, and I swear I had it. I don't wear a watch, and I don't have a clock in my class room, so I use my phone. It's on vibrate and no one really calls while I'm in church anyways, so it's never been a problem. I went to look at the time, and couldn't find it, and so I sent one of the boys back to the primary room to get it. No one had seen it. Well, after church I looked everywhere for it. I talked to everyone I could think of, and no one found it. I was hoping I'd dropped it in my car or something, but no such luck! So, I came home. Then I had to go look again, just to be sure. No phone. Then I went and visited Grandma, and then Mom and I went back to look for it. No phone. All the while, people had been calling it to hear if anyone would hear it vibrating. No such luck! So, yep, I cried. My phone is the only way I'm going to get business, and it's gone! I don't really have the funds for it either, but at least I insured it, so I won't have to pay the whole amount. I called t-mobile to report it lost or stolen, and they said, Well, it hasn't been used since 3:55. I was in primary at the time. So someone has my phone, how sad!

I'm sorry Pyper! I can relate to bad days like that. It seems like when a day goes bad... it goes really, really bad. I hope you find your phone or get it back. Good luck with everything!

Gosh! I am so sorry, I hate days like that...

I hope someone turns in your phone. Hopefully, some little kids took it home in their pocket or scripture bag, and their mom finds it tomorrow while they are at school. :)

Bart lost his phone once at Ally's baptism. Someone turned it in on Sunday to the library, and the librarians called using his phone. (he had Home as one of his contacts) So we were able to get it back. Hopefully you will have the same luck.

If we can help in any way, let us know!

Love Ya!
