Today I was wrestling with my nephews and niece. Ford was on the bottom of a pile up, with his brother and sister on him, and said, "I'm not going to live to see my 8th birthday!" So funny!
Ad's was telling me about this dream she had of her and one of her brother's coming over to our house, and having a picnic in our backyard. They got to be outside all by themselves. "...Then I came and asked you for a dwink... Do you remember that?" She was dead serious! She thought I would remember her dream!
I love being an aunt!

At my religion class on Wednesday night, my stake president (the guy who oversees six congregations in our area) was our special guest instructor. He taught from the talk "It's a Miracle" by Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. He talked about the miracles we see in our lives all the time! Whether they're health issues, like blood clots, or my doctor knowing how to save me with a procedure that hadn't been done in half a century, or smaller things, miracles happen around us all of the time.
In the talk, Elder Andersen is talking about missionary work. Since the age change for missionaries, it has been amazing to see all of the kids that are going on missions. I'm so proud of those girls that have decided to do it.
When Collin was on his mission, we went to pick him up in Hungary. As we were traveling around the country meeting the people he met, one guy told me I would be a bad missionary, because I never talked. Athough he may have been somewhat right, because I was extremely shy and didn't speak much, but he was Hungarian, I was American There is a huge difference between English and Magyar, there was no way I was going to be able to communicate well. When I did speak, I would say an extremely common word in English, "sorry," which I was told was a REALLY bad word in Hungarian. Anyways, back to the subject at hand. I so hope that one day I'll be able to serve a mission with my spouse!
In class, we were asked when did we last have a missionary experience? What are reasons we don't share the gospel? I hope that the way I live serves as an example of what we have in the gospel. Do I go out and ask people if they want to know more? No. Do I invite people to come to church with me? Well, not really to my block meeting, but I do to the midsingle activities. Why don't I? I'm so grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that Christ lives. I know that he died, and atoned for our sins and sorrows and joys. I don't go out and share things, because I fear telling my dearest feelings, and that those things that are so sacred to me will be mocked. So, I'm going to work on being a better missionary! We'll see how that goes!
So, the whole point of this post was to share a bit of an experience I had the other day. I was at my friends wedding open house, and was sitting at the table with her boss. We were sitting there eating, and talking, and there were tons of people around us. You'd hear one person say, "Hello, Bishop (insert name)" or "This is Sister (insert different name:))" Nothing seemed out of the ordinary to me. Then the boss lady, looks at me with huge eyes, and her jaw dropped, and says, "Oh my gosh! I'm probably the only one here, I'm the only outsider that's not one of YOU people!" I knew exactly what she was talking about, but just laughed it off, and said, "Why? Because none of these guys are your bishop?" She laughed, and said, "I go to church every Sunday, I just don't go to THE church." This has been a topic of conversation with her before. We then had a funny, but good discussion about reading the Bible and following the commandments you find in there. It was interesting and fun!

Much needed weekend!
This has been one of the best weekends in a long time! I've been so busy with so much, that I've been getting too caught up in just doing and not enjoying. Today I was visit teaching, and the lady I was visiting mentioned a BYU podcast she'd listened to the other day that was something about living in survival mode is not living. I think that's where I've been sitting at for a while.
Friday I went to some friends' wedding, and then, instead of rushing back to whatever I had to do, I went out to dinner with some friends and just enjoyed the evening. I so needed that!
Then, yesterday, I went to the boy's soccer games and just got to play with them. I love thoselittle guys so much! Then last night I went to the Real game with my mom, our Real friends, and a friend of mine. It was so much fun! It was freezing, but so much fun!
Much needed great weekend! Maybe I'll be ready for the crazy week ahead, now! Thanks to all that made it great!
